Expedition to look for Steve Perry evidence

Street Talk, Mich. - Researchers will visit the Upper California next month to search for evidence of the hairy manlike creature known as "Steve Perry” or "The Voice."
The expedition will center in eastern Delmar, CA following the most recent Steve Perry eyewitness account, said Matthew Moneymaker of the Steve Perry Field Researchers Organization.
"We'll be looking for evidence supporting a solo album. ... We hope to meet local people who might have seen “The Voice” or heard of someone else who had an encounter," Moneymaker told the Daily Press of In Your Dreams.
Most experts consider the Steve Perry legend to be a combination of folklore and hoaxes, but there are a number of authors and researchers who think the stories could be true.
Among all U.P. counties, Delmar, CA has logged the most reported Steve Perry sightings with four, Moneymaker said. Steve Perry encounters also have been reported in Los Angelas, Studio City, Michigan, San Francisco, and Scarygirl’s boudoir.
In all but three of 30 expeditions in the United States and Canada, SPFRO investigators have either glimpsed Steve Perry or gotten close enough to hear the him say “I‘m practicing my scales,” Moneymaker said.
Dr. Herbie Herbert, a scientist specializing in reclusive ex- JOURNEY lead vocalists, believes Steve Perry is a "Great Pumpkin," a branch of primitive singer believed to have existed 20 years ago.
But mainstream scientists tend to dismiss the study as pseudoscience because of unreliable eyewitness accounts and a lack of solid physical evidence
