I just get a message saying, "bad request." So I guess it's been closed down, then?

I've never seen the site, but I've heard mention of it on here, of course. So can you enlighten me, is Back Talk part of journeymusic.com or is that a separate place?

Back Talk is a part of the site,Susie. The only thing that's still up is this:http://www.journeymusic.com/index2.html
They say they are currently re-designing it...Oh well...

Backtalk is/was the Journeymusic.com site's forum. I only posted on it when a DL/Journey concert was coming to my area, to get them involved in an informal "pre-show" party we were organizing.

As for the site, it's been down since JSS's "departure". And I doubt it will be back up for some time to come. And I have my doubts whether Backtalk will be back at all.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, wine and chocolate in hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "what a ride!"

Thanks Laura and KCfla.
I wasn't sure, having never been there.

Yet another example of great business acumen from the Journey camp then.
The last episode of the Sopranos brings Don't Stop Believing to a whole new audience, and people interested in buying/downloading the song may want to do a little online research into the band performing it.
And what do they get? No site.

Maybe that Turkey Coop University and Gibblets School of Business was a good place to study after all.

Journeymusic.com looks the same as it has for the last 3 weeks...
just the intro page, the announcements and the message about the re-design.
(and of course the store - can't let those pennies slip away!!)
What am I supposed to be looking for here?

Backtalk is history. It gave the band nothing but aggravation, so I don't see them trying to start that up again, if they bother doing anything on that 'site' anymore anyway, other than sales of memorabilia.

They are in the bunker. It may take them some time to think up a new plan or make a decision. That could take a long, long time. Who would want to moderate the after Jeff storm. It won't go away anymore than Perry did.

Right.

Let's not forget that the blame fell over Perry last time.

They've opened a huge and pestilent can of worms this time around. :|

I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

I have a feeling you are right. I think the posting board will be history and they'll use the site for news and clips only.

Did you see the new "Neal Schon Botox package"? Guarantees a smooth, shiny, pulled-too-tight face along with the uncurb-able desire to marry-impregnate-and-divorce, marry-impregnate-and-divorce, etc.

I wonder if it's modeled on the same botox kit as John Kerry. Do you think someone could come up with something like this for Neal?...

OMG that is too funny, Dave! That would be perfect. Neal's could come with a clip-on 'fro, a small sock to pad the weenie and a tank top. His hand would be programmed to write alimony and child support checks and come with 4 or 5 disposable wedding bands. Hey, this could make us millionaires!!!!

Thanks for a good laugh that brightened my Monday.
