"Ultra right wing" and "libertarian" make no sense when placed together.

The libertarians over here are right wing to the point of zero state intervention on anything and that tends to include any social conscience or need to have a welfare state of any kind - associated very much with the ultra right wing. Put it into the context I intended and it makes perfect sense.

Just chalk it up to different interpretations of the word, I guess. Libertarians here are typically very conservative on fiscal issues but very liberal on social issues. It's a mixed bag as far as they go and they are typically also very much against the war in Iraq or any war, for that matter.
