It took from July to December for them to name Jeff. The exit process takes a while.

Nice enough voice, nothing special.

One of the things that he (and others) miss is capturing Perry's signature rhythm. If you listen to Perry sing almost anything, part of his skill is to lay right back on the beat, creating room for the other instruments. Jeremy does cope with it pretty well, but I don't hear it with this guy, and with a lot of the other tribute singers.

Great observation.

One thing I really appreciate is how he never sneaks up on a note - he finds it and hits it square center.

Some vocalists today "work" every frigging note into 25 syllables - makes me insane.

Yes, we all know Perry had his "Whoa oh-ohs" - but that those are few and far between.
