OT: Must Be "Jackasses On Parade Day" in my town

Postby T-Bone » Thu Aug 02, 2007 3:51 am

People tend to tick me off from time to time, but today, they are out on the loose and in full form.

First, I was awaken by the neighbor blowing up firecrackers AGAIN! This has been going on since before 4th of July. Last week I asked him to stop at 10pm because my daughter was sleeping and she woke up screaming when the fireworks went off right outside her bedroom window. This morning, I just walked out, looked at him and said "Last Warning". Needless to say, daughter woke up screaming because of them and I've been up since, SO....

I decided to get some ebay stuff and CD sales stuff sent off at the Post Office. I loaded up the stuff along with baby and off we went. I turned left out onto the highway, and a guy that was initially in the outside lane, decided to change to the inside lane with no blinker or anyone in front of him to necessitate a lane change. He swerved back into the outside lane and then he has the nerve to blare his horn and scream at me, and continue to do so at the next stop light as well. I pretended to use my cell phone and rolled down my window and asked him if he'd like to chat to the police station about his illegal lane change and disorderly conduct, and held my phone out. Then told him that they have also been informed of his license plate number. He shut up quickly and made a hasty right turn.

So... I make it to the Post Office. I have my hands full with a big box, an bag of various envelopes, and baby carrier in the other arm. I go up the stairs to the PO, and some punkass jerk runs in front of me, and doesn't even bother to hold the door. No biggie. People aren't courteous sometimes....

I get inside, and there's no line and the jerk is shuffeling through some paperwork on a side counter. I go to the PO lady and she admires Ashlynn for a sec, and then proceeds to run through my outgoing packages. Jerkboy walks over in front of me and says, "I was here before you" and puts his stuff on the counter. Becki, the PO lady tells him to step back and take his place in line, and he was NOT in line before I was. He gives me a nasty look as well as her, and I could here him badmouthing me and her from behind.

I had about 8 things to mail off and 3 were international. I already the Customs Forms filled out ahead of time so it was alot quicker. Jerkboy continues to mumble and mouth off from behind me, and has the nerve to blurt out, "Some of us have lives and have jobs to get to". Becki steps aside and tell him that one more remark out of him, and he'll be out the door. So... I get that all done, and make my to the door and he makes one more remark about "kicking my ass" when I get outside and makes some retarded hand gesture. This kid was about 22, 150lbs and 5'7" at best. His "trucker hat" was cocked sideways and his shorts were halfway down his ass. He looked like a reject from the "Gangsta Wannabe 101" class.

The funny thing was, by this time, there were about 5-6 people waiting in line, and 4 people back in line, was an old neighbor of mine who is a local Cop. He wasn't in uniform.     On my way out the door, He said hello to me and went to the front of the line and proceeded to show the turd a badge and pulled him aside 8) I sat in the truck for a few minutes and when the kid came out, Joe was right behind him. He continued to talk to him and the kid looked pissed as hell. A cop car pulled up and Joe signaled it, so I'm assuming that someone is in trouble

Anyway... I decided to grab something to eat and stopped at Taco Johns. I got my order and walked out the front door to hear a "thump". The guy who just parked next to me opened up his truck door and smacked my passenger door mirror. This wasn't a small little noise. It was a definate thump that I heard from 20 feet away. I walked up to that side and he acted like nothing happened. I confronted him and told him to be a little more careful when opening doors next to other peoples vehicles. His truck looked like a piece of shit, so I'm pretty sure he didn't give a rats ass about his vehicle, or anyone elses for that matter. He looked at my door and then says, "there's no mark so don't worry about it".

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE TODAY!!!!!!!!!

Agreed 100%

There was a very elderly couple that I used to see every morning on my way to work . Every morning they would
stop me with some very pleasant comments about life and the world.

One day, as usual, they stopped me. When I inquired as to their health and well-being, this 90-year-old woman replied,
"Ya know, honey. There are days that some people should drop to their knees and thank God for gun control"

Sounds like you have run into a few of them.

sorry T-Bone that you and your precious daughter had to encounter so many idiots!!

We were talking about this yesterday. Kids just have no respect any more. I have had this kind of trouble at the grocery store. And when you are there by yourself it's scary when teenagers do that kind of stuff. I'm glad the cops got that kid but I bet it will only make him madder not teach him some manners. Sorry you day was so bad. Hope the rest gets better.

I'm going to ask Joe what he said or did with the turd next time I see him. He still lives down the street from my parents. I'm assuming since he heard alot of what went on and what the kid said, he either got him for Disorderly, or scared the shit out of him with the uniformed officers and the police car

Had a similar thing happen a couple of years ago.

A kid driving about 90 in a 45 zone rides up on my tail and stays there. He flips me off and lays on the horn, I drop down to about 20 and stay there for at least a mile. He can't get around me and goes ballistic. Follows me through town another 7 to 8 miles on side streets, neighborhoods, etc. trying to get me to pull over.

I call 911 and tell them whats up. I show him the cell phone and tell him its 911. He messes his shorts and takes off another direction leaving me alone. Dont know if they caught him or not, but hope he got the message.
