Question for Jeremey:

Hey guys! Just a minute to answer the question hopefully - It's really just a matter of time to perform all of the great songs. True, the tribute is envisioned as a Perry era Journey due to Perry not being out there singing these songs himself, but realistically, even 3 hours isn't enough time to perform all the great songs we want to perform, even from the Perry era. There are so many tunes like Natural Thing, Sweet and Simple, La Do Da, Do You Recall, etc etc, that we don't even have time to perform...A good question would be what could we have dropped from Saturday's show in exchange for Remember Me or Higher Place (and no, don't say Oh Sherrie as it was a top 10 hit the sorority crowd got to hear - And Missing You was a bonus for our last show in a while)....I can't think of anything we would have dropped and substituted an Arrival song for that would have made the show stronger.

We run into the same problems Journey does with only 80 minutes for a show, but we got 3 hours and we still have to drop things! Oh well, you got to cast the widest possible net sometimes....

Thanks Jeremey, I completely understand. I went to the show in Atlanta with some new Journey fans who just discovered the greatness that is this band. We have all sat out at the pool on Saturdays and listened to all of it. We have gotten quite close to the Augeri stuff and were hoping you could throw some of that in. But I understand the dilemma and why it cant be fit in for now.

It would be quite interesting, Jeremey, to hear your interpretation of Arrival material. It would give us a glimpse of what it would have sounded like if Perry sang those songs.
