The Zoo from the Phillipines

I somehow hadn't seen this band until now. As good as their Journey songs are, I think they do an even better Survivor (type in "zoo survivor").

Great voice! Definetly does the classics well!!! I think I only heard one missed note in DSB but I like his take on the songs.

Nice! Stayed true to the song but has his own style in there, too.

That's great! Now, we can all compare this guy to next Journey lead singer. Isn't it great?? Yeah! We can compare Journey tribute band singers to a Journey tribute singer in the band Journey! OHHH! What a great time we'll all have, indeed!

LMAO!!
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Has anyone ever been amazed at the number of guys out there who sing-like-Perry? It grows every day! How many freaking tribute bands do we NEED in this world? Evolution (love Hugo, actually), Lights, Infinity (here in the SF Bay Area), Frontiers and let's not forget the actual band Journey who has now become a tribute to itself!

Geeze - I've never seen so many guys all try to sound like another guy in my entire life!

And unfortunately, they broke the mold after Steve Perry and all these guys show the cracks in the mold after it was glued back together.

My, am I certainly literate tonight......

I blame boredom.

there is a BIG reason for that-Steve Perry is one of if not the greatest vocalists of all time. If your gonna imitate someone, may as well be the best!

That singer has the stuff for sure. Could he do it for a tour ? Who knows. I think his voice is more natural singing Journey than anyone else save for Jason Kelty. Since they are looking for the "legacy" sound now it seems they might as well get the closest thing they can get.
