I was 21...remember I loved "Open Arms" when I heard it - a new different sound, an intimacy & vulnerability coming from Journey/SP...these were my thoughts. I never could remember that other song title, it was "don't stop believin'", I always thought of it as the small town lonely girl song. 
Guess that's telling. A few months later is when Journey/SP pretty much left my memory bank until 2004. 
Apparently, I must've loved "Still They Ride" back then, but I honestly can't remember it specifically...it was when I heard it again in 2004 that the floodgates burst & I fell in love with this song...my all time favorite Journey song.
