I like Baltimore, but I've mosly just seen the touristy stuff. Seeing Edgar Allen Poe's house was pretty cool, and the harbor area's nice. We could sit by the water outside our hotel and hear a concert at an amphitheater right across from us.
That would be Pier 6 Inner Harbor Concert Pavilion. I've seen Journey, Boston, and many others there.

Yep, that's the place. I saw Hall and Oates there the first time I was in Baltimore, and the second time we sat on the benches outside the hotel and listened to a Jimmy Buffet concert.

I'll tell you exactly why it's "heaven on earth." There is no sign of any inner city trash. Throw up a few taco stands, some projects, a couple of drive bys and some graffitti on the side of the mountains and it would be just like Chicago, L.A, New York, Detroit or any one of a number of our lovely democratic strongholds. Carry on.

Democratic strongholds.... So true. Around here having people know you're a liberal is worse than kicking puppies.

Boy don't I know how that feels.
Hell, people around me kick puppies, all they care about is whether or not they can own a AK 47.
