According to insiders close to the situation, the mother of two failed to comply with ALL of the things she had to do in order to maintain joint custody with Kevin Federline - as ordered by a Los Angeles judge.

Spears failed to meet with a drug counselor. She refused to submit to drug testing. She didn’t enroll in parenting classes. And she also failed to sign the judge’s order.

And last Friday, the judge prohibited both Spears and Federline from driving the children unless they had a valid California driver’s license. Spears ignored that demand as well.

Britney (as well as K-Fed) have a lot of issues on more than one level.

One issue that I feel Britney may be facing is the fact that she just is not good mother material.

And there is not a damn thing wrong with that ....... or even admitting it.

Even today, a woman's first role is seen as child-bearing... and not all women are up to the task.... and yet many women are pressured to have kids --- and many feel inadequate if they do not live up to society's expectations.

In most states in the case of custody, the court's decision usually defaut to the woman because it is automatically felt that the children would be better off with their mother. That is not always the case.

I am not defending one stupid thing that Spears has done here. Not one thing here defends her drug and alcohol abuse or any resulting child-endangerment.

However, maybe if in this country it can be recognized that child bearing is not a woman's primary purpose or goal on this planet, then maybe fewer women, and the children they have borne, would find themselves in a mess like this.

Who could ever imagine that K-Fed would seem to be the more stable in that union?

I think we have evolved from that, since so many women are out in the working world, whether they want to be there or not; many times it's out of necessity.

There are so many opportunities out there for women now, that I don't think your argument is valid.

Children are a gift. There is birth control if you aren't ready to have children, yet choose to be promiscuous. Yet people are too lazy it seems, to practice it.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that life at its most vulnerable has been so devalued down to nothing, that it makes people, and society in general, not even care about anybody's children...their own included.

However, until someone asks a father "How do you manage a career AND a family" I will argue that my point is very valid.
