Anybody ever listen to World Cafe on NPR?

My lousy pitch and I just fell in love with a couple of bands he had on there; one is from CANADA :) called Metric...Thought they were terrific, here is a sample:

Maybe this is the future, Tiny Masters of Today, 11 and 13, I thought they were pretty darn good (the sound quality of this video isn't that great but what I heard on the radio this morning was really quite good):

They call these bands indie bands but they sound pretty melodic and rocking to me... They also played a duet with Robert Plant and Alison Krauss that was excellent, too...

Maybe there is still hope for melodicrock. Maybe record company moguls like Simon Cowell need to be overthrown. Just some ideas... What do you all think?
