Fake Alcatrazz, which is Graham Bonnett's solo band and their fake, taped, sequenced keyboards. Come on Howie, hire a decent, fricking keyboard player like me. SEQUENCED, TAPED KEYBOARDS MUST DIE!

Not only that but Graham Bonnet has to be one of the worst singers I've ever heard.

I would still go, but I'm 400 miles away and have my own gig that night.

I know Yngwie was in Alcatrazz briefly, but if I am not mistaken and my memory doesn't completely betray me, wasn't Steve Vai also in that band for a short period of time?

Anyone know or remember? Just curious

I love Graham Bonnett & I've been a huge fan of his from Rainbow, Alcatrazz, Blackthorne, etc. But in general I agree, it would be nice to see some live keyboard players out there...even if it isn't me. :D I know it saves money for touring bands to leave the keyboard player at home, (and having stacks of backing vocals in your laptop doesn't hurt any), but you just lose a little something. This isn't a reflection on Howie or Graham, I'd still go if I could. It's just the way things are done, and sadly it hurts business for guys like me.

As for the "fake" Alcatrazz...they are doing a lot more than the "other" Alcatrazz has been doing, who seemed to suddenly spring to life once Graham reclaimed the name. Just my .02 E
