does anyone remember the santana song all i ever wanted.
sounds exactly like a journey departure tune featuring a very perry like
alex ligertwood on vocals, worth checking out

I think you're thinking of the Kansas tune "All I Wanted" from their '86 album "Power".

I don't know that song (All I Ever Wanted),but here's another featuring Ligertwood.He has a very good voice,I can hear some Perry inflexions here and there.

Can definitely hear some Perry in there.

I'm not crazy about "religious" songs, but that is beautiful.

Sounds really nice, but reminds me more of a Michael Bolton/Michael MacDonald deliver than a Perry delivery. All R&B influenced singers of course...
