The fact is, Perry will return to the studio if he stops attending the alcoholic anonymous and meetings out there. For crying out loud PERRY, you've been sober for the past 18 years, give it a rest. You're freaking 60 years old, your fans are waiting and dying to hear from you.

I fail to see what one has to do with the other. You can't quit AA, if you're an alcoholic, you'll always be one. It never goes away. Thus, you need that constant support.

Yeah, I was going to say that, but if he's been sober for 18 years, he's probably proud of that fact, as he should be. THAT takes character. He just probably doesn't want anyone knowing where he attends.

That is the reason why no one will ever hear from him.
Addictions are a touchy subject and anyone who has a conscious knows when NOT to bring them up.
Yeah we nitpick him to death, but most of us know when to draw the line.
