I almost don't want to post this here in fear of a political war on the board, but thought this was cool as hell.

I'm sure some of you have already seen it though.

Hey, Rick. That seems really cool. I didn't watch all of them, but I did click on a few and got the impression that it was a very non-biased way to learn a little bit about all of the candidates. Thanks for sharing!!!

Now if we could just go to a website like that to vote, it would really be cool.

I've almost come to the conclusion that with so many televised campaign ads and debates the elections have become something of a reality show to some people. They're not interested enough in the actual running of our government to look into ALL the real issues and where the candidates actually stand on them. They just choose a candidate according to a) the party they or their parents always vote for just because that's the way they always vote, and/or b) the party that suits their religious beliefs and/or personal financial status the best, and then c) which among that party looks the best and seems to be scoring the most points in the ads and debates.

Yeah, it's a shame, but I think you're right. People watch it just to see the arguments and mudslinging. It's becoming like the Jerry Springer show.

Sound bites, people rely on stimuli now rather than thinking....myself included. :?

Exactly!! Thank you Rick. As sad as it is that's what televised campaigning is giving us.
