Bought a brand new Jeep in October of 06 with 36 miles on it, not 36,000, thirty-six miles. As of right now it has 46,700, in 12 months and two weeks. It seriously is a problem, but only financially speaking. Driving is my therapy. I can't stand to feel caged in or tied down, jumping in the car for a trip out the road or half-way across the country is my way of not having constant anxiety attacks. Not kidding!

LOL on the Steven Segal movie. What did you think it was last night? 1995?

 Whatever you do. DO NOT LEASE!!!!!

I'm going to hunt some up and try it out. Worst case, I may try making it myself. Thanks for the tip!

Rhiannon wrote:I agree with the last few posts. Unless you've been in said person's mind and life, you can't really judge them for their shortcomings. Everybody has vices and addictions to some degree. You can be addicted to anything, from drugs to booze, sex, food, driving (me), message boards even. If any of you haven't heard the 7th Heaven song "Medicated" (great song), listen to it.

.

I agree with that Rhiannon. My sister worked for the Substance Misuse Service over here, this is attached to the Mental Health Trust Section of our National Health Service, there can be all sorts of issues that surround a person becoming addicted to anything, even washing themselves, cleaning the house, shopping you name it, if you feel the need to do it and it gives you a buzz, and afterwards you feel low, then you're addicted.

My sis worked mainly with people who were using drugs, but the majority of the time, there is an underlying issue why they end up addicted to whatever it may be, insecurity, lack of trust- perhaps they've been in abusive situations, as well varying mental health issues. The addiction acts as a form of escape from those problems for some.

People who end up on this path are so addicted that they don't register the dangers, it's a bit like a self destruct, now or never scenario, the sad part is for the many even all the help in the world won't help them. Only a few eventually see the danger, and get the help they need.

You're totally right Rhiannon, until you've been in the mind of another and lived their life, and seen the world through their eyes you can't discount them for things they have done that may not fit the norm.
Personally, drugs for me are one big No No, but I always keep an open mind and wonder what drove that person to end up in a situation whereby they can't live without their fix.

KD was the only one that refused to be in the new Randy Rhoads movie that is in the works.. he thought Rudy Sarzo had something up his sleave to make him look bad...and that the movie would not be accurate..Rudy also wrote the book.

Those two did not seem to be the best of friends for sure. Kevin indicated a few times that Sarzo liked to crank up his bass too loud during their shows, but didn't specifically reference him by name.
