Journey and my job

Postby conversationpc » Thu Dec 20, 2007 6:06 am

Part of my job besides the network administration aspect is to do software support for the software we develope. It is accounting software for advertising agencies and I often have to do testing to figure out client issues.

I printed a report today while doing research on a client issue and came across the following comment on a time record I had entered in my test database...

Called Journey management and reamed their ass over Jeff Scott Soto's firing. Told them to get a clue and get him back in the band, pronto. Told them how stupid they are and how much the hardcore fans despise the band now.

 How about that! Journey providing inspiration for work ideas!

Hope you're in charge of the network traffic monitoring :D

I found MR at work but 'cause of the fbombs and such decided to check it at home. Place was pretty strict about content.

Blocked gambling sites (super lotto even), blocked ebay, streaming music and blocked youtube.

Our "clear history" buttons were disabled at work. I found on the internet how to enable them again, but it's not worth risking my job.

Yeah, I'm in control of the entire network since we're such a small office (only 6 users here). Other than blocking known bad sites, everything else is allowed.
