Fox News is a joke. Please. CNN is world renown. People know that Fox will spin. I love how after Bhutto was asassinated, Fox parades every single republican candidate on their show for their thoughts and what they would do if president. Not ONE single Democrat. Real impressive there Fox. Like they have any shot of winning the White House.

Dude, didn't you hear, the Dem's were too scared to go on Fox news.
They were led away by the slip and fall lawyer Edwards.
They should all be wearing skirts, except Hillary!

Oh and by the way. I just finished watching a show on the NHL network where they counted down the top 10 goalies of all time. Your #1 ever "Brodeur" only registered #7  For the record Roy was #1, Hasek #2 and Sawchuk #3.

Dude, please don't run smack on something of which you know nothing about. That list is correct as of now, however, when he retires, Marty Brodeur will be number one...until Luongo retires

"We ought to make a quick, monitoring of our borders...to ensure that huh, we don't let a bunch of Pakistani's into the country."

Mike Huckabee, the GOP frontrunner today, responding to the Bhutto asassination.

Wow, I can't even respond to that.

We'll see if that blows up his campaign like "the smartest woman in the world's" retarded response to the drivers license for illegals in NY question damaged her campaign.

ANYONE who runs down Fox News for being biased and can't see how biased CNN is has no credibility commenting about other news channels.

There isn't a single republican worthy to be president. Hillary, Obama or Edwards. Three person race.

The ultimate war machine would be Don Dokken dressed up like Patton with a megaphone singing "Kiss of Death", and Wild Mick tearing it up on skins in a tank-like vehicle with a double-bass kit on top -- that would have the same effect as carpet bombing the enemy. :P

Takei ROCKS. Met him twice and took him running the 2nd time, and we ate at IHOP after that. Dude runs all the time and is in great cardiovascular shape -- I was lucky to keep up. Super nice guy, and told me all sorts of behind-the-scenes stuff. I used to have a handwritten letter he wrote me thanking him for a gift, but lost it about 20 years ago after a move. I was really surprised when he came out o' the closet, because he was quite convincing as a person who digged the chicks.

All day the day before yesterday, the news on any and all channels sucked big time because all they were talking about all day long was how the Tiger ate the fucking stupid moron and attacked his other two dickhead buddies who fucked with it at the San Francisco Zoo. I'm pissed that they killed the cat. They should have just got it back in it's cage and I'm sure no one would ever fuck with it again.

So change was good, yesterday and today they were talking about Bhutto. Amazing how everyone over there is described as beating on their heads and chests in grief with their fists. Sounds like a really modern society over there. My prediction: Shit's going to get really ugly and out of control over there in Pakistan in short order. Since they have nuclear weapons, the U.S. will be pressured to go in and start cracking skulls. As soon as that happens, a bunch of yahoos over in the U.S. will claim that Bush ordered the assasination so our troops would have an excuse to be over there. Mark my fucking words, these are the same assholes who say Bush ordered 9Fucking11. Just mark my words!

That's the problem with 24-hour news channels... There is apparently not enough real news to keep them afloat, or at least, not enough sensational stories. Instead, we get beat over the head for days with missing rich white girl of the week stories (notice how they never spotlight the abduction of minorities?), high-profile court cases, and celebrity gossip. Plenty of newsworthy things going on in the world, but the channels are all about ratings, and cater to the lowest common denominator. I'll only turn on the news when there is a story worth learning about.

I still remember the night I decided to quit watching Fox News. It was another episode of Greta Van Susteren dealing with the Natalie Holloway case, and that night she had nothing, nada, to talk about. She had a few friends of Natalie's on that had already been on the show before, and knew absolutely nothing then, but she had them back on and was just digging, digging, for info, which they weren't able to give. I don't think those girls answered a single question... just "We really don't know". I'm sure they were happy to be on national TV again, but it was just bottom of the barrel... I knew at that moment I was an idiot if I gave that channel another moment of my time.

I do still turn on Fox occasionally, but am usually sorry for doing so. It's not the conservative take on the news that bugs me... it's the brainless programming which caters to people who don't think too deeply.

I don't think it's going to be Obama. I could be wrong but I really do not think Obama's going to win. I say this because I was watching Obama on TV the other night. He's really a young looking guy and young guys in most cases are very unpredictable. I think when it comes right down to the wire, a lot of voters will vote for someone they feel is predictable in their favor.

I've not been following it too closely, I only know a few candidates by name. There's one who looks a lot like Johnny Cash in his senior years, anyone know who I'm talking about. I swear, every time the guy is talking in public and it's telivised, I aways can imagine him breaking out singing something like "I walk the Line."
