Looking back...

Postby Liam » Wed Jan 02, 2008 2:15 am

Man...this has been a fucked up year. Musically, personally, all-around fucked up. Some good, some bad, some amazing, some tragic. But, for me, I'm glad that 2007 is over. I don't know about y'all...but aside from the MelodicRock Fest and meeting a LOT of you people...it's been pretty much a shit year as y'all have read.

Highlights of this year (and I'm gonna have to include October of '06 for this as well) were #1 getting to know my best friend, Jen, again. #2 MelodicRock Fest....and I think that's about it.

Lowlights: A couple of deaths of people rather close to me as well as one that I know affected us all in a big way, my DWI...my first time to be in trouble with the law and I REALLY don't EVER want to be in that position again.

Musically: Well....I don't even have to talk about the bad parts of this as I think you all know where I'm pissed. But....there were 2 good parts of this year...and those were the Rush album/tour and, of course, MRFest. Both awesome shows. And thank you once again to the 'Bat for making South Bend happening.

To all of y'all that I met this year....it was a GREAT time...and once again...YOU PEOPLE FUCKIN' ROCK. :-)

The highlight of my year was the last beer I drank in 2007.

Drinking with Liam in South Bend was cool too though.

2007 was not my best year either but I still have
my pack-oh-boys and all our health to be grateful for.
Lost one of my favorite cousins but gained two beautiful lives
into our families.
Musically the highlight without question was South Bend and meeting
everyone.....I'm still grateful I didn't let you mix my drinks Sir.

I hope the brand new year brings you to the doorstep of your needs
and finds you in the house of happiness Liam.

Man what is in this tea I'm sipping on.

Yeah, definitely 2007 sucked and I am happy it's over and done with. I'll do my best to make 2008 one of the best years. I got a slew of plans, just hope they all materialize. Seven's are lucky to some, mine are eight's.

2007 brought the greatest joy I've ever known as well as the greatest pain. I'm doing my best to move on and look forward to happier days.

Well I didn't get to South Bend to meet any of you , and I had a lousy year too.
So I'll join in in wishing everybody a whole bunch of happiness, good health and success in 2008.

You are a great bunch on here and I'm glad I found MR.

I learn so much on here, and I get entertained [or shocked] reading all the fights!
And I enjoy all the music you share.

Keep up the good work and HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone. 2008 has to be better. It HAS to!
