Postby mikemarrs » Fri Jan 04, 2008 10:56 am

we have a great 1981 houston escape show on DVD.i now wish they would put out something similar to the captured album from one of those shows on DVD from a 1980 departure date.call that thing captured 1980 and make it like a prequel to the houston show thats already out.imagine the captured album being put to actual video.i'd buy that in a heartbeat wouldn't you?????

You have 1980 show DVD? Which one is it, Japan? Have that one but I want the Houston 1980 show. I'd buy that one in less than a heartbeat. But the mother of all of them would be the Atlanta or Mountainaire ROR DVD.

Yes, there is an audio of it, but never seen the video. I know one exists because there were a few songs from that concert featured on Soundstage. I believe it was when they opened for the Stones. But not sure on that one. The set list includes the best performance of Winds of March and Patiently that I've ever heard Perry belt out. That concert was Perry at his finest.

right, but I think he wore the same pants and white coat in Houston, but I can't remember. That's funny, I always know the concerts by what SP was wearing. Pretty funny, but in the Japan one, he changes to a blue shirt partway through it. That's an awesome concert also.

Houston 80 might have been the black vest and pants, I'm so confused  I get all flustered when I start talking about 1980 Journey videos.

Perry/Journey should follow through on his initial threat around when he began restoring the ESC4P3 tour show for permanent glory to then do the same for the Dep, Front and ROR tours.
