Choose your favorite of these albums from 1984...

My vote goes to "Defenders of the Faith" by Judas Priest.

Had to go with VH's 1984. Panama is my favorite VH song. There are a bunch of good tracks on that album.

I didn't realize you were such a hard rocker Dave. Eclectic to say the least.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

I chose Purple Rain. It was a toss up between U2, SRV, Madonna, and Prince.
Until we meet again, may God

Dave, the idea is great, to poll for favourite albums but you can't put any Perry or Journey on there. I mean you can, but it is takes away from any methodology a poll can have. There is NO WAY Street Talk is better than half these releases. You know, and I know it.

Nah...I had to put them on there. Just including most of the major releases for each year, regardless of artist, and a few more eclectic choices occasionally.

"Wheels Are Turnin' " was a great CD and I love "One Lonely Night", but not even Kevin Cronin or Steve Perry could beat the Boss -

and get this, I'm just a casual fan of Springsteen but "Born in the USA" cannot be denied!

It wasn't good enough to make the list for this year. That and it's one of my least favorite Rush albums.

I would've picked Perry's Street Talk because that's my favorite album now. But back in '84 I had no idea it existed.
My 2 favorites back then were Reckless and Agent Provocateur. I simply can't decide, both are amazing albums.I'll pass this one.
