I refuse to drive a fucking automatic. I can also operate heavy machinery too! No half ton diesel dually stands a chance against me! Nor rig, nor tanker, nor bulldozer, nor tractor.

I'm cool like that.

Ehh... not so sure I agree with you on that. I mean, Virginia has some BRUTAL ice storms and maybe it's just my passion for clutch speaking, but I feel like I have more traction and control in a stick. For one thing, we have mountains... and downhill roads plus ice equal "Awww HELL!" The benefit to having a stick is whereas in an automatic, it will continue to roll in the highest gear possible you can downshift a stick to choke back the motor and give you a little advantage. Plus, as long as you have a front or four wheel drive and know what the hell you're doing, it's about the same.
