You have the exact same M.O. as Susie/ArnelRox/Arnelian...I'm watching you closely!

I was just countering Sushi Hunters info with more current info. If he says 470 pesos, provides a link,, he did that and then says the country is poor, then I felt that giving more relevant current info would help those that like to investigate to format their own opinion.

I don't want Strangeone to label me as a race-baiter but at the same time, it's uncool when there are some people who diss your ethnic background. I react the same way when people diss America :) Proud to be American as well.

WE can talk music. You provide a nice forum to do so but if others can say what they say without opposition, then are we really seeing both sides or just the popular view? You can check my ip address all you like, it's based in San Diego.

Again, I don't know those other people but I get you Andrew...I've always tried to say THE MUSIC MATTERS but then just when I think that's all to talk about, someone starts to badmouth a nation of people under the veil of humor.

Andrew - I hear you, now you know where I stand.

I liked it better when you propped me for Richard Springthorpe

I'm not dissing anyones race here. I'm simply saying that in a country that is pretty much poverty stricken, it's going to be difficult to bring in a serious gig and make money, let alone break even. Many of the members on this board don't know many facts of the Philippines like you and I do. If they were to know how poverty stricken it is and the bootleg and black market factor, that will help them calculate Journey's interest in that geographical location. Trust me bro, I lived there just like everyone else who is there and there were plenty of times I was walking down the road with my rice cooker, electric fan and hair down to my waist. I been there done that and so has Arnel and the members of his Zoo Band (previously AMO Band.) I was so poor some times when we had no gigs to do that I had only enough money to purchase a bag of hot pandesal and a cup of coffee at 4am just to tide me over until the next morning at the same time when I would do that all over again. It's a dirt poor country riddled with crime and corruption and I think it's important to disclose everything to people who don't have a clue as to what's going on over there. And to my understanding, the peso rate is 47 peso's to 1 U.S. Dollar right now. A ticket selling for 10 U.S. dollars would then be 470 pesos...correct?

No doubt. I can respect what you're saying. Man, Pandesal sounds good right now:) Beyonce performed there so I'm thinking if she can do it, so can Journey. My bro-in-law used to tell me about the Commodores concerts he watched in the PI. If Asia is a place where Journey wants to go, then in the Philippines, I'm of the opinion that the Fort in Taguig would be a cool venue to perform at. If it's good enough for Mariah and Beyonce' and Mandy Moore, then it should be good enough for Journey. ONTO THE MUSIC. Thanks for the discussion mate.

Just this one other thing. My Chemical Romance is playing that same venue and here are the prices for the tickets.
http://thoughtsinbinary.com/?p=294
Ticket prices start at Php 412.00 for General Admission, Php 2,575.00 for the Silver Section, and Php 3,862.00 for the Gold Section. Only three sections for a huge, huge venue. People at General Admission, expect to watch the concert at the screens.
