I heard about this. Bad idea on too many levels. Just once I wish they would get ACDC to do the halftime show. At least then it would rock!

My guess is Fox has the Super Bowl, and AI is on Fox.

Call me crazy, but I like Paula Abdul. Good song. Reminds me though of a song that Jennifer Lopez put out back in the late 90s. Can't think of it right off hand.

I didnt think it sounded bad either. Sounds like the stuff that my daughter is listening to and Paula's older stuff.

The thing about Paula and so many others, they don't claim to be great singers. They're performers talented in their own right.

On that note. Last year the American Idol folks went on the Stern Show. They were asked to evaluate a couple singers. One of the singers is a published, signed professional, but they weren't told that. Anyway, Paula and Simon rip him a new one. Afterwards, they bring out the guys albums and sold unit numbers. They were slightly embarrassed to say the least. Point- know what the Hell you are talking about Paula.

I thought the world was done with Abdull's pitch corrected vocals. But now it's even more acceptable to have these type of computerized, pitch corrected vocals. If you heard Paula's raw tracks you would know how bad she truly sings. Always off pitch. When she sings live, she has a background singer who sings everything and her voice (Paula's) is layered on top. I'm sure this time around she'll just lip sync and dance. But.....

she can dance and I'll give her that. :)
