I heard from a relaible source that Steve Perry came down to the studio to hang with Extreme as they recorded their new record. They recorded the record at NRG Studios in LA and Steve was literally there everyday for 2 weeks! He is a huge fan of the band and just wanted to hang out and "absorb the vibe." The band supposedly welcomed his presence with open arms.

Don't believe this. Why would a East Coast band record in LA? Will check into this, I have a source with the band...

To get the HELL out of Connecticut, for one....

Why would anyone give a fuck about a shitty band and a retired, recluse singer? Please folks, respect Mr. Perry's privacy.

Did he lend any talent while there?
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Of course not. He just likes to be Snuggle fresh.

(or... maybe that's why his hair always looked so soft?!)

No, nothing will come of it. Absolutely. But the guys apparently had fun with Steve and enjoyed his company.

You missed my joke. I wrote a long diatribe about my stinky grandma who wouldn't bathe, and just said "fuck it" and used Bounce sheets to mask the stink.

A year ago we had an unfounded perry/bettancourt rumor and we couldn't figure out if it was fresh or the same one from '94-'95...

flash forward to official news of an Extreme album pending, we do some extrapolating, and VOILA!!!!!!

HE'S BACK (for real this time)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't care about good friends in the studio. Anymore I am happy to record good musicians. Where did all of the talent go?
