I felt for you yesterday. It was a great year. But as I told weeks ago my friend: You need a running game! Brady can't do it alone. I'm also sorry Bill-oh-cheat had to act like a cry baby. Why couldn't he give props to the Giants? Randy Moss was all class yesterday. I give it up to him. Anyway I'm sorry John. Maybe next year. Hey maybe the C's will bring you a banner this year.
Thanks for the encouragement. I was considering jumping off the Tobin Bridge (for you non-locals...It's a bridge in Boston), but thought my wife and son might need me around a few more years

As for Moss...I agree with you 100%. I've honestly never been much of a Moss fan, but always thought he was the most physically gifted receiver that I've ever seen. His comments about the Giants were SUPERB, and all class! He made NO excuses and said the better team won. For what it's worth, there wasn't a single Patriot interview I heard that didn't praise the Giants efforts. I don't really know how anyone could say anything else. As for Belichick...I don't really know what exactly you're accusing the guy of "crying" over. He said the same exact thing he says after EVERY game..."They made a few more plays than we did" or "We made a few more plays than they did". The guy says NOTHING, and never has. He certainly didn't say anything disrespectful about the Giants. In fact, I'm quite sure he is still very fond of the Giants organization. He DESPISES the Jets, but the Giants are the team he's always had a hard on for, because of his days there with the real LT!
Even in spite of this "abysmal" season everyone now says the Patriots have had, this isn't the last of them. They have the 7th overall pick in the draft, which I suspect they'll trade for more picks to rebuild their old defense! As long as Brady is there, they'll always be VERY competitive. As for the Celtics...I'm not entirely sold on them, as of yet, in spite of their great record. Three old dudes, who can definitely get it done. That said, I think Chauncey Billups on Detroit poses HUGE matchup problems for the Celtics. Rajon Rondo simply can't cover the guy and doesn't really have the body type to muscle the much larger and experienced Billups! I would be VERY surprised if the East doesn't come down to Detroit and Boston. At this point, I still think the West has the better conference, so we shall see! Go Red Sox!
