WHat in the world??? this article is a bit misleading!! it wasn’t announced this morning at all! this is news to me..

we all knew he was grooming his son for this .. well.. i mean getting him a contract.. Texas Tech is NOT going to be happy with this.. neither will the season ticket holders..

I can't believe it hadn't been announced up there. I just saw it online and thought of you, Lar. So, his son is a bigger jackass??

There isn't a bigger jackass in sports than Bobby Knight! I've never quite understood most of his act, over the years. I'm not sure I ever would have believed half of the things he was accused of doing, if I hadn't seen them with my own eyes! The funny thing is that I think the guy could have been a great coach without all the foolishness! He could have learned a thing or two from John Wooden!

John Wooden is the greatest coach of all time, regardless of sport. The guy is a great great human being. Anyone can learn from Coach Wooden. However, I would die to play for Bob Knight. So what, he has a temper, cusses up a blue streak, waaaa, and throws stuff. He loves to win. That piece of crap Coach K is a fraud. He has a filthy mouth as well, and when his team loses, he cries like a bitch. I can't wait til he loses this year again in the NCAA's. Bob Knight coaches circles around a lot of these guys today. Now, talk to me about my boy Tony Bennett, and I may be a little biased. :)

I hate Duke. I hate UNC. Loathe Wake Forest. NC State. Oh... wow. Thanks for reminding me what I have to put up with until the first of April. Tobacco row basketball. Gag me. Though I do love watching NCAA hoops, I hate this state's unhinged attitude.

I'm glad Knight's gone...now maybe the Aggs have a chance in ONE sport to beat Tech. These past few years with every sport....SHIT.

Knight is an ass and a jerk...

However, he runs a disciplined team who win despite their lack of athletic talent compared to most of the teams they've played over the years. The better athletes have consistently gone to other teams and he still put together a winning program despite that. He also instilled a strong work ethic in his players, insisted that they excel in their studies, and cared about their success after leaving the program.
