Easy to say now and regret later. It would absolutely bother you once the emotions had cooled and you are sitting in the cooler. Hey, I know this nothing more than casual venting on a message board, but all's I'm sayin' is that there's no reason for a grieving parent to paint a big bold target on themselves or become a martyr in the course of justice. I'd absolutely give my life for my child, too, but not if it wasn't necessary. People have to be careful about what they freely volunteer on the World Wide Web of self-incrimination, because it can come back to bite ya big time...

I didn't mean to sermonize... was trying to keep it very light, but it's a serious thing to consider. Lots of us grew up fearing Big Brother, and who'da thunk that we would end up BEING Big Brother against ourselves?

I hearby state than anything I have written in this thread is fiction. No murderers were harmed in the making of these posts.

I definitely think that "treating" a murderer to the same demise they gave their victim would be a great way to handle criminals. However, the idea of dropping these jackasses in the ocean attached to something heavy CERTAINLY has a nice ring to it, too. DAMMIT - my Texas is showing again!!!!

I like your idea especially knowing that the penalty for Joran would only be 10 to 20 max.

They mentioned Joran digged the face time on camera -- maybe he'd enjoy being an anchor-man! :P
