What a fantastic night of music. I know I'll probably miss a few things because there is just too much to list!!! The highlights included: Joe Lynn Turner singing Stone Cold, Street of Dreams and Highway Star. Outstanding job. JLT still has a lot in the tank and he really did well on all 3. Nick Colionne, jazz guitarist, came out and blew everyone away. I called the guy the Neal Schon of jazz. Talk about a guitar that could sing. Very nice 3 song set. He, Jim and Lisa McClowry (talk about a hottie) performed a brand new jazz/rock song last night that was excellent. Jimi Jamison came out and performed High on You, I Can't Hold Back and The Search Is Over. Jimi did a great job. Those songs are pretty demanding vocally and he rearranged them in a fantastic way. I Can't Hold Back was simply magnificent. Jimi got teary eyed during The Search Is Over...not sure what that was all about, but the crowd ate it up!!! Hope all is well in Jamo's life. He was all smiles from that moment on.
Don Barnes came out next and played Fantasy Girl, Caught Up In You, Hold On Loosely, and Rockin' Into The Night. Outstanding set. Don seemed to struggle on one song, but the others were nearly perfect. Hold On Loosely seemed flawless.
The Ides of March played an extended version of Vehicle that was jaw dropping. Had to be 20 people on stage and the song was tighter than a Jew at Christmas time. Hard to believe those guys have been jamming since 1964.

Pride of Lions also played a handful of songs and Toby Hitchcock was great. Dude can flat out sing. Once again, Jim Peterik provided the Chicagoland area with an amazing show for $50. I really feel like ripped him off. It was that good.

Edit: Almost forgot to add that each and every artist that performed came out to the lobby and sat at a 20 seat table. You could buy merchandise, pose for pictures, get autographs or just shoot the breeze with them. Really, really cool of them to do that at each show.
