Jimmy Kimmel comes on at midnight. Its within the realm of late night TV, which for a long time has been doing stuff like this. Its no different that the other late night talk shows, Saturday Night Live, Benny Hill, and those things go way far back.
However, understandably, some people don't enjoy that kind of humor. Which is fine.
That's what the 'off' button and the other channel buttons are for.
I'll provide the counter-argument instead of waiting for it to arise...
"But it's all over the intrenet now on sites like YouTube where children can see it anytime..."
Yep. Totally true. That's where a little thing called "parenting" comes in.
Just as one would monitor what they watch on TV, same with the internet.
Everything comes with parental controls now. And probably not enough people use them.

Agreed in full. But they're usually the first ones to gripe about it. My mother let me watch things that, looking back, I can't believe, just because of not paying attention to what it was - but she's the first person to bitch about what should and shouldn't be allowed on TV.The problem is that the rest of the world isn't responsible for what a kids sees. Its all to easy to blame TV, radio, etc. Too many people expect the world to just change for them just because they don't like something or because their kid might see it.

are pompous asses. People have every right to whatever they want to do these days it seems, doesn't float

Just like TV and Radio, your computer has an "on/off switch", a switch/dial to change channels
and there are 10-bazillion otherthings on Youtube for you to watch if this offends you.
You may think they are all pompous asses and that may be the real reason you didn't like this
skit. But there is nothing wrong with it morally.

America is too fucking easily offended. If you're offended, turn off the TV, or go watch SpongeBob.
