Journey vegas you tube clips

Postby roknroseville » Wed Mar 12, 2008 11:53 pm

Just wondering about thebelow you tube clips
The band featured three new songs in their Vegas set - Wildest Dreams, Never Walk Away and After All These Years. You Tube clips are all over the place - check out the new tunes: youtube.com/watch?v=4jUjljMtusc - After All These Years; youtube.com/watch?v=CxFOj9Iadx8 - Walk Away; youtube.com/watch?v=hwQ-SKnl83g - Wildest Dreams

Were they shot with the bands permission? If not then why have the threads on this site.
I got bashed for listing inreleased WS songs in a trade which in hind sight wasn't a great move on my part.
So when i see a thread of Journeu clips on this site Makes me wonder.....

Who gives a shit? They didn't ask Perry for permission to re-record his songs, so I'm not asking them for permission to post their concert footage

Because Andrew doesn't run this site like he's a dictator! Listen, just because the "official" Journey site bans youtube clips doesn't mean they aren't out there for the entire world to see!

Incidentally, am I the only one who finds it incredibly ironic that the "official" Journey website bands youtube clips, while the "official" king Journey man, himself (Schon) browses youtube to find a lead singer for his band

Jrny Vegas clips Andrew

The point i was making was toward Andrew & rules of trading etc on this site..
It seems just a bit strange that a well known site like this would post threads to clips that were obtained illegally.
But object to people trading cds/dvds that were obtained legally.
No big deal..
