OT: Songs with a twist.

This song started playing and I thought, "What a great rocker." I was guessing Humble Pie or Head East but come to find out it was a band I didn't expect at all,

Know of others that threw you for a loop?

That song is so good live. A real rocker, relatively speaking. I look forward to hearing it every time I see them. I'd say I've seen them 15 times or so.

Great example.

I opened it in a hidden tab window so I'd have to guess. Unless you're a big fan of these guys, you won't get it until a bit into it.

Yeah..this was the first thing that came to mind after reading your post. I just felt this one really nailed what you were talking about.

This one below also came to mind..but not as obvious or as much of a stress. I think this one below actually is one of their best lesser known songs and it wasn't as if this was a 'stretch' for them..but it was different enough that the first time I heard it..I wasn't able to nail right away who it was. This song may actually be my favorite from them.
May not fit as well into this topic as the first one I posted..but as I mentioned..the first time I heard it..I wasn't able to nail right away it was them..where as with the other stuff..you knew right away.
Plus with this one you see the 'players' right away. The other one you don't.

This guy's voice is so recognizable I got it right away but the tune is a different than what they normally do.
