OT-Def Leppard-Guitar Hero

Postby Angiekay » Sat Apr 19, 2008 1:29 am

Three Def Leppard songs are becoming part of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. Beginning April 24th, video game users will be able to download three of the bands songs -- the classic hits "Photograph" and "Rock of Ages," as well as the band's latest single, "Nine Lives" featuring Tim McGraw. Singer Joe Elliot said, "Being involved with Guitar Hero is very exciting for us and adds a whole new layer of appreciation. I know from personal experience how much more you get into the music by playing the game -- which is why we were keen to explore this opportunity."

I wonder if you merely play "air guitar" during the choruses of the songs if it plays it for you...kind of like what Def Leppard does with their choruses live.

Dude, please stop trying to pull Leppard down to Journey's level and their history of lipping. Let's hope Journey rises to Leppard's level instead, okay? :D

I would estimate that 80% of what you hear at a DL concert, as it pertains to choruses, is canned. Elliott is usually out of breath by then, dreaming of his next "date" with the Marlboro man, and the other 2 ballerina Euros simply can't sing as well as everyone gives them credit for.

You also estimated that there was no way in hell that "Arnel ever sings for Journey"

I sure did and am more than happy to acknowledge that I was wrong.
