Caught a piece of Larry King last night, and I was surpised...one, at how conservative and alike the women were dressed, and two, they denied everything except being pluralistically married. Also, they all seemed very suspect of the authority's handling and alleged deception. And I do want to respect their beliefs, but it was rather strange and robotic the way they answered questions, many times all saying the exact same things.

Tough situation down there.

Those women are brainwashed. They all look the same, even apart from their clothing. They're all extremely thin, have similar hairdos, and talk in the same monotone voice.

The punishments when they return will be even greater now that they've had a taste of
the outside, because they are obviously going to give them some foods they might not have had
before and toys, maybe even television. None of the fathers are coming forth to say who their kids are...hmmmm...

and there is a crematorium on the ranch, yikes~ looks like the girl that called in will never be found nor will
all the deformed children that are born there, they have a witness to that.

I was listening to an interview with them this morning. The reporter asked them where the fathers were. They didn't say anything for just a second and then one of them said, this is about getting the children back.

Yeah, talk about cowardice. They treat their women like slaves, basically, and then when it's time for them to step up to the plate, they throw the women under the bus.

SAN ANGELO, Tex. — A hearing here on the fate of 416 children taken from a polygamist compound descended into chaos on Thursday as defense lawyers in two different locations entered a flurry of objections as the state tried to present its case.

Because more than 350 lawyers are involved in the case, many on a voluntary basis, the country courthouse was too small to accommodate them and the members of the church who wanted to attend the hearing. That is why the live video feed was set up at the nearby city hall.

10:26 a.m. - Men and women from the YFZ Ranch walk into the City Auditorium, take seats in the auditorium and begin watching the hearing.

10:24 a.m. - The attorney for a woman whose last name is Barlow objects to: lack of notice, the hearing's format, and failure to meet requirements of the Texas code that entitles each child to a full adversarial hearing.

More attorneys make objections, and Judge Walther asks them to allow the court to get started. She says no perfect solution exists, and the state is required to get started after 14 days.

The judge tells the attorneys their objections are premature.

10: 12 a.m. - The judge swears in people who will testify. Child Protective Services recommends that the state maintain temporary custody of the children. CPS asks to obtain DNA samples from adults to match with children.

The first witness is called. Judge Walther tells a woman to take a seat, saying she will not have people jumping up and down and shouting at the court.

10:10 a.m. - All rise. Judge Barbara Walther enters the courtroom.

9:54 a.m. - A man tells everyone in the City Auditorium to put their cell phones on silent and gives the crowd the password for wireless access. Activity picks up in the courtroom, but the judge has not entered yet. A buzz of conversation echoes in the auditorium.

Four Texas Rangers enter the back of the courthouse.

A woman drives by in a white SUV screaming at bystanders to "leave the children alone." The screening lineup is gone. A man hands out 25 percent-off coupons for the Rodeo restaurant.

9:41 a.m. - Live video feed begins from the Tom Green County Courthouse. The judge's bench is empty, and staff members in the courtroom check the volume settings on the microphones. Attorneys stand around talking and sit scattered through the City Auditorium. More attorneys continue to arrive and take their seats.

Let me preface by saying I have nothing against the law-obiding, regular society-dwelling members of the mormon faith.

But I firmly believe every single one of those horrible compunds (cults) should be raided and those people should be locked the fuck up forever. A few posts mentioned hiding behind religion.... absolutley. Hiding behind it and using it as a free pass to break multiple laws. Criminals, every single one of them. God what they do those children, forcing young girls to marry, old men having sex with 14 and 15 year olds.... GAH!

There are organizations to help women and children get out of that life but not nearly enough of them. I couldn't have been happier when I hear that place was raided and those fuckers were arrested. Good. 'Bout fuckin' time. One compound down and I don't even want to think about how many more to go.

Not that I have an opinion.

These people are NOT Mormon's. They are in no way associated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Just to clarify.

Not normally. You're usually quiet, kind of off in the corner, all unassuming, kind of like a wallflower. :D ;)
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Wow. Great article tj. Loved this part. I don't know alot of specifics about Mormonism but Catholocism's "sacraments" contradicts the Bible in this way also.
tj wrote:She explained good deeds don't save us. Mormonism teaches you must work to earn your way to heaven. The Bible teaches that trusting in Christ's finished work on the cross saves us. I was amazed at the simplicity of the gospel message. I cried as I realized I could come to Christ just as I was. He didn't require perfection.

Reading that story that TJ posted makes alot of sense... No matter what they try to say about it or how they try to explain it.. It's nothing more than torture and mental/emotional abuse.

Several TV news type shows and Morning shows had interviews with some of these wives and mothers and I was pretty floored at how BRAINWASHED they appeared. Their responses to questions were robatic and almost like they were reading off a que card by their husbands who had whips in their other hands. These women were born and raised themselves in this group and because of this, they also don't know what real abuse is. They're brainwashed into thinking that it's necessary so that they can go to heaven. They know NOTHING of the real definition of abuse, so then they can sit there and also claim that their own children are not being abused either.

If people choose to live a certain way, that's fine... But when it comes to these kids, they have no choice. These lunatics all assure them that it's ok for them to screw these young girls and get them pregnant for them to be able to go to heaven, but yet, it's somehow not abuse or rape by their standards...

When the DNA testing and geneology trees are all put together, and the dates and math are done, I have a funny feeling that there's going to be alot more to this story than we even know now.

And men can be sealed for time and eternity to as many women as they wish, with the thinking that one day in the after life they will be their own God in the Celestial Kingdom with their own Kingdom with all their wifes. So basically they are still practicing polygamy, just behind the closed doors of the temple, with their secret handshakes and secret temple names.

Actually WIX, you are wrong on this.

I know - but because there are many who consider the two one in the same I wanted to be clear on just who exactly I was attacking. While we're on the topic, have they castrated these fucking child molesters yet? Wake me when they do, if you would, please.
