JOURNEY TICKETS ARE IN

Postby yogi » Fri May 02, 2008 12:19 am

Yesterday my San Antonio (Selma) Journey/ Heart/Cheap Trick lawn seats arrived.

Taking the entire family to the show.

I truly cant wait to see Cheap Trick. They are one of the bands that I really like that I have never seen before.

I hope they get to play a decent length set.

I could do without Heart, but my wife likes em.

Minor question...why aren't you going to the Woodlands' show??

Yeah, I printed off my tickets for Selma as soon as I bought them--Taking the whole family. I'm brainwashing my girls as we speak. Is it so wrong to tell them Miley Cyrus might be at the show........?????

The Woodlands is 5+ hours from our home.

San Antonio is 1 hour from us. It will take us around 1 hour & 20 minutes to get to Selma.

The Woodlands show is the same correct???

The reason I ask is that Def Leppard, Styx & REO are playing Selma but at the Woodlands its Arrowfest (93.7) and besides Leppard, Styx & REO Night Ranger and one or two other big names(from yesterday) will be there.

I am thinking of heading to Houston for that show.

P.S. We have already done The Best Of Both Worlds concert + the movie & The Jonas Brothers X 2.

Got mine for that gruelingly hot, smelly, sticky venue in Dallas about a week ago. I opted for a seat this time. Last time we took the lawn, some dude was peeing right next to my wifes foot. Several disgusting displays were witnessed. :x
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

She asked me to switch places with her, and it was so loud that I wasn't going to try to ask why, so I did. When the song stopped I asked, and she told me what had happened and that she was barefooted, where I wasn't. Poor Deb.

Went to see a local band here, Los Lonely Boys, at our outdoor venue. Brought my wife and three daughters. Well, apparently, the area behind us was the informal rest room, as both women and men alike peed there all night. Bunch of drunks. Good Lord, I know at concerts you're supposed to expect some of that, but pissing "in the open", jeez........

I'm going to call the venue and find out what time the gates open. We're going to try to have a tailgate party started pretty early. BBQ! My husband is going to go, I had to twist his arm a little bit. :P
I'll let you guys know what time.

These guys played in Charlotte. They sucked. My idiot friend recommended them, and they were brutal.
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!
