And Top Ramen.

You're dang right they're eating Top Ramen! You know they are, yet I have yet to see a single reference to Top Ramen, or my personal favorite brand, Smack Ramen, in any struggling couple song. I mean, how much more real could you get? Jon... do ya do ya do ya do ya hear me? Hello?!? Song idea?!?

You need another circle for Rip Rokken, halfway in-between "Awesomeness" and "Ninjas".

I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Hey, now... at least Jack and Diane lived in a warmer climate. Tommy used to work on the docks, and a Union job at that... that's something to sneeze at.

He's down on his luck, it's tough. And you know about how Gina dreams of running away? :(

She cries in the nighttime.

And Top Ramen.

Unfortunately, those poor kids live in the same run down 3 flat with Sherrie.
They avoid her in the hall because of her words of steel.

Yeah, but knowing how he made her feel she really shoulda been gone.

Hey, on 2nd thought -- it also needs to span "Pirates" as well. I don't know how I could have missed that before. So, yes -- it needs to cover "Awesomeness", "Ninjas", and "Pirates".

Umm... I was thinking more along the lines of this:
