Going For Adds

"After All These Years" is officially "going for adds" at AC channels.

That is the ONLY info I can find. No mention of "Never Walk Away" and no other formats of stations reporting Journey going for adds.

I will be disappointed if the band ignores HOT AC, CHR/TOP 40, ROCK and even Triple A. They should not IMO focus solely on the ballad....or any ONE format. Looking at the charts for each format you see a LOT of variety of styles. And there is a lot of rock out there. Journey can tap into this!

If Bon Jovi can do it with their crappy song, Journey sure as hell can!

I'm showing my ignorance here but what does "going for ADDS" mean?

So if they're advertising the new CD, does that equate to more airplay?

Actually, the radio "add" means that stations are adding it to their playlists. I'm guessing Journey will get the most play on the HOT AC chart.

Well, if Pineda isn't there in a year, we can really say they went for the A.D.D.

Seriously though, if its a hit on the AC stations, it'll get picked up and played on the others. AATY is definitely their best last shot at it.

Not if they don't send it there.
