Just mentioned on MSNBC and I heard it earlier today on Fox. Anybody got some popcorn?

If this torpedos Obama's nomination chances, every black in this country will either sit at home in November (not that they ever vote in droves anyway) or vote for McCain. And if Obama does still get the nomination the GOP has enough dirt on him and his anti-American wife to get Oprah to vote for McCain. This election is over.

NO this clip is taken out of context and contains half of what McCain said. In the whole interview McCain says that becuse Hamas won the palestinian election in 2006, the US would likely have to have some sort of diplomatic contact & communication BUT only if pre conditions were met including dropping its rhetoric about the extermination of Israel.

That never happened, and its far far different than Carters visit or Obamas talk of unconditional presidential talks.

There is a context beyond an additional ten seconds or so of a soundbyte you should really try to pay attention to before weighing in on such matters.
It's called the real world.
And in it, neither this administration nor Barack Obama has EVER agreed to speak to Hamas. Not with qualifying pre-conditions or whatnot.

HuffingtonPost included McCain's stunning admission that he would speak to Hamas because that by itself is unprecedented coming from any of the major candidates - everything he said afterwards is immaterial.

Not sure what the big deal is, anyone who has been paying attention is already aware of diplomatic talks with N. Korea and Syria occurring under this very President's watch.

One weird fallout from the harsh economic situation we are in that I never expected was to see Chinese buffets closing down or raising prices. The ones that I have seen that are open have a sign on the door stating that the price of rice as well as other products used has forced them to raise their prices and we aint talking about a dollar either. Oh and gas is $4.00 and climbing not to mention diesel fuel at $4.29 which is the nations source of energy that gets food to the stores and in your belly ! Uh oh !!

Even though I could care less if all Chinese buffets closed down it is the sign of a small crack in the foundation that if left unchecked it going to blossom in to something much worse.. Food shortage in the U.S. maybe ?

I know I might sound like a nut. I can feel the snowball rolling down the hill getting bigger and bigger. Just read CNN everyday to ensure that you stay depressed.

I think that the next president is going to be faced with a possible civil war if things dont change and honestly I would love to see the people remove our current government by force and just rebuild the whole mess to be honest. I would gladly take a bullet for that kind of change if there was a chance we could return this nation to its fucking senses and take care of our own. Fuck the rest of the world. We have way too many problems of our own to be the world police anymore..

Now that we have so many IOU's to the Saudi's (to name one) that are unpaid we have been allowing them to gain business interests on our soil and I mean BIG business too. They own way more of America that most know because its not something the current administration wants public. It is being sold right out from under our feet at an alarming rate.

I am not sure it matters who is the next pres is. ONe thing for sure is that he has one hell of a mess to clean up if it is even possible to clean up in one term. Any more mistakes and shit is going to hit the fan...
