I LOVE Alabama and Toby Keith. There are others that I like and I frequently listen to the country music stations or watch CMT.

Not a big fan of country music, but I love Vince Gill. I've been listening to him since his Pure Prairie League days. Not crazy about his hardcore country and bluegrass stuff, but his cross over stuff is amazing. Great singer, guitarist & songwriter.

I like the country music from the 70's that was more pop inspired.

Olivia Newton John
Juice Newton
Eddie Rabbit
Ronnie Milsap
Marshal Tucker Band
Little River Band ( Their early 70's music definately had a country sound to it, check out this song )

Yeah, I love singing along to this ('long as no-one can hear me  ). I think Jim Cuddy is a very underrated vocalist - he always sounds great live. I saw them just a couple of months ago, they are all very talented musicians and put on a great show.

when i was in elementary school in the early 80's juice newton's song 'queen of broken hearts' was a big favorite because my grandmother used to take me to this little cafe where i would play pac-man and have a coke and fries and that song was always playing on the jukebox, good memories.i'm not a big country fan but there are certain songs and artists i like.

I listened to Country when I first started getting into music. I didn't listen to much else at all.

I loved Shania Twain, Toby Keith, Montgomery Gentry, Alabama, Willie Nelson, Charlie Daniels Band, Sawyer Brown.

My dad (who likes country more than I did) decided to step in and help broaden my horizons. He pointed out that alot of country I listened to had similarities to classic rock, and soon thereafter I began my rock journey and haven't looked back at mainstream modern country since.

I'll still spin some CDB, Alabama, Sawyer Brown, and Willie every now and then... and some "older" stuff. I also like some alt-country, especially the band Wilco.
