KASEY freakin' KAHNE with the upset victory! Nice!

Was this the only all-star race ever with no cautions?

Ah yes - I was there! :D

Right in turn four.

Thought I was going to die.

$1000 dollars, 2000 miles and my man wins the All-Star Race.

Life is good. I'm typing this in North Carolina right now (It's 2:30 am! I'm too excited to sleep! Met Dale Jarrett, too!)

That's great! It was probably the most boring All-Star race ever, but I'm sure it was just fine with you! I'm glad you got to see him win. Nothing like seeing your guy win in person. Congratulations! :D

I forgot you were gonna be there!! I thought to myself when Kahne took the lead, "I bet mistiejourney is freaking out right now," but it slipped my mind it'd be in Charlotte.

I bet KK will be a force next week in the 600. He's got a lot of confidence riding with him now. Look for Hornish to make waves too.

Question is: How many teams will copycat the #9's strategy, and gamble on tires during the 600?

GREAT article on Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the new ESPN Magazine.

He's a good, genuine guy. I'm beginning to like and respect him a little more with each passing week, I hate to admit.

I may even stop rooting against him, and begin to jeer Busch instead..

Yes, I've read that. It is good. I've never really had a problem with him. A LOT of his fans are obnoxious, or clueless, but he's a good guy. Although he's a decent driver, I do think there's drivers out there with more skills. Of course, I guess you can say that about everyone, except whoever you think is the best.

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing about Dale, Jr. He seems like a straight up guy and he seems much more relaxed and enjoying himself now that he is out of D.E.I.

And I was going absolutely nuts. Freakin' out of my MIND when Kasey took the lead! :D :D :D

I wish Deano were here so you could taunt him. Didn't he say a million times Kahne wouldn't win a single race this year? :D

ahhhhh... so that's why he looked so nervous :P

I LOVE that he was voted in by fans (first one to win!) (so how many times did you vote?)

It's about damn time, too, lol. I've missed him being in the mix.
Go Kasey, it’s your b’day!

ps congrats to you on getting to be there - very cool
