From Drew's Front Page:

Don Dokken was interviewed for www.collider.com.
Don offers this comment in relation to the new album:
"I am very happy about the response L S A is receiving.
This will probably be our last studio record,
so I'm happy to leave the fans with this musical offering."

LOL! You guys are so funny... Rip's been working his buns off the past few weeks, but I am keeping an eye on things. And I knew about the MR homepage blurb and the collider.com interview (which wasn't very good, btw).

All's I can say is this -- if you don't yet have LSA, you better get it today! I'm about to pop it in right now... I also got my signed Dokken poster in the mail yesterday which was offered by Rhino for purchasing the U.S. release (yes, I bought 2 copies of the import and 1 of the domestic version) -- the poster was signed by Don and Jon Levin! SWEEEEEET!

I've been wondering where Luvsaugeri is, too -- did me a favor a while back which I really appreciated, and wanted to say I'll be meeting Augeri in the flesh in less than 2 months... woo hoo! Maybe I can return the favor somehow...

Kiss has had three "farewell" tours. Anything can happen. Hell, Flock of Seagulls is putting out a new "record" this summer.

There's a reunion that had to have been the work of Mephistopheles himself. While he's at it, why not arrange for Dead or Alive to come back from the dead as well?
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

Don is not going anywhere, though he's already working on his next solo album now, and it's going to be heavy. Flock of Seagulls is putting out a new album -- do you mean the original lineup? Last I'd seen them, it was on Bands Reunited on VH1, and it really seemed like a 1-off gig that almost didn't happen. I've seen them twice at small venues here, and they were great.

Flock of Seagulls would be cool - it didn't seem like the band got along at all, though.

I can't wait to get my POSTER!! I wonder if they are all going out at the same time. If so, I'm guessing I'll get mine tomorrow. Just a month until my 2nd Dokken concert - and this time I'll be Rokken up front!

Unfortuantely, mine looked like it had been passed thru a few hands... it was torn at the seam for about 3 inches on the right-hand side, but a little tape on the back and it's ready to go.

To be truthful, Don's voice is shot. The material on the new CD sounds good from what I have heard of it, but the vocals are terrible.

He just had nasal surgery not long ago, and it's helped correct some things with his vocals. He's actually adding some higher range songs to their lineup as he feels he can handle them now. He'll be back, trust me.
