Here's the Bryan Adam's youtube for those that missed it, although it sounds like there are more haters here than those who care. I thought he was great:

Echh...I was working on PC while Bryan Adams was on....Truly a snoozerino. I respect the guy's accomplishments, but I personally think he's WAY overrated, as are most things from Pop Culture icons** (Bryan Adams, Celine Dion, Mike Myers) from Canada. I just don't see how there's anything to get excited about. He really didn't start to irk me until the "The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You" video, where he had eyeliner on and acted like Linda Evangelista. WTF!?

**Edited to be more specific re Canada.

Right - and I guess there are no overrated American 'pop culture icons'.

Stands to reason - percentages, ya know? You have more icons than we do so therefore you must also have more overrated ones  ! I'd say every country has their share of duds :P

(I personally don't care much for Celine Dion's music but I'm not sure I'd ever refer to her as overrated 8) )

No I didn't. The pic is just WAY more close up that I care to get with that guy and it jumped out.

Eeeek!

Now I had to look myself -- I hadn't noticed that! You were probably leaning in for a kiss...

Agreed! 100%! I'd put George Michael in the top 3, personally - perhaps number 1? but i'd be sounding too much like a fanboy, he is right up with there in the top 5 without question! regardless if you like him or not.

George was AWESOME and he had a bad cold and still sang every note almost perfectly.

I thought Bryan Adams sounded damn good too, didn't care for the guys singing with him though and Donna Summer is STILL AMAZING!
