LOL! Now you are talking. Oh, I didn't mean to indicate you were complaining, btw... If the government wants to make me feel good, they all should resign and let us redesign the system. :)

Yup. Rebuild it from the ground up. No more fucking donations, graft or other form of money to influence votes. Hey, let's make that part of the Constitution. I think we are on to something here!

Man, we should start a thread for ideas on how to improve our government and remove all the corruption. The checks and balances were designed to protect the people and keep any branch from becoming too powerful, but now the legislative branch in particular has ruined it.

Here are some of my ideas.... First and foremost, politics, or more specifically, "public service", should not be an avenue to get rich. There should not be much more incentive to get into public service than to serve the public. I'd start by cutting that fat-ass pension they get, after only a short time in office. 2nd, I'd remove the ability to vote in their own pay raises. 3rd, there would be private auditing of how they spend our money. What say ye?

To be cont. I'm off to bed! East Coast time, ya know. :D

p.s. The same should apply to doctors. The first question out of their mouth should be how can I help you. Not how are you going to pay for this!

Rip and Rick! Or maybe, Rick and Rip! I'd rather see you become the nation's first black president! Me, I'd be too busy with a hatchet cutting waste behind the scenes to baby the spotlight.

Most people that say this have no idea how hard doctors work.

I have never had a doctor ask me-or any of my patients, how they are going to pay for their care. Sure, their offices do but the doctors themselves usually have no idea what insurance patients have-if any.

Doctors save lives, they improve quality of life. Sure, there are times when they can't and yes, there are times when they prove that they are human and they make mistakes. Regardless, they deserve to be paid very well for their services.

"Standing On The Outside" would become the new National Anthem under my administration. I don't care that it has nothing to do with patriotism... it needs to be heard!

You'll have to ask Rick, as he's the official presidential nominee, but I don't see any problem with a 2nd VP. With all the changes we are going to make, most likely two of us will be assassinated, and I don't want the presidency so easily going back to the President Pro Tem of the Senate -- I'm sure he's a jackass, just based on experience. But seriously, who could assassinate this face?

I'll tell ya one thing that we won't try to regulate, and that's comic book movies. Right now, they are proving that the private sector can and does succeed!

Hey, that works! But you know, I don't think Rick is much of a Dokken fan... maybe I should be President! Experience, ya know? If I'm going to run for V.P., though, I'll wear a Darth Vader mask to campaign rallies to irritate the Dick Cheney critics... LOL!
