LOL!!! Just watching the DVD right now, and saw myself in the crowd! At the end of the first song ("AWYWI"), there is a great pan of the audience where you can make out people's faces. Look very closely near the top at 5:27-5:30 and you will see one person clapping with his hands over his head, and his shirt is on FIRE -- sticks out like a sore thumb -- that's Rip Rokken with his magic shirt! And the head directly to my right is the Mrs., who was sitting down. Most of the time I clapped with my hands as high as possible hoping to be able to spot myself later on. Mission accomplished!!!



Might as well make this the official thread for people who spot themselves on the DVD, or recognize someone else who was there -- point yoselves out!

I know exactly how stoked you are about this Rip. I was at the Show Ya concert in Tokyo on October 28th and when the DVD came out, I found myself on it in a number of places, and I was completely stoked about that too! I was pausing it and showing it to all my friends and shit and they were thinking it was cool that I was on this DVD filmed in Japan and that there are tons of people playing the DVD and seeing me on it.

I think lots of people purchase front row seats primarily for that reason alone, besides being at the concert. There was one fucker near me who was on the DVD as well. And at a recent concert by the same band, I saw that fucker on that concerts DVD too. Its easy to spot white people with blond hair at concerts in Japan, you can see them a mile away cause they are the only ones without black hair.
