As soon as the last overseas dates are played on his band's current tour,
the celebrated Filipino vocal stylist hopes to get down to recording fresh material
for his first U.S. solo album, reportedly in collaboration with hip-hop artists
Illmind (of G-Unit), and reportedly, will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas.

If that is true, that is retarded and gay, write some new shit with Journey If Friga will allow. I doubt he will have a voice after the tour,especially after Journey does their"Evening with Journey Tour" after there tour with Heart, like theve done the last 6-8 years which goes from Sept thru Nov.

He's already DONE solo and group recordings.
He is fully aware of how good he has it with Journey, appreciates his bandmates,
and he isn't about to fuck them over by getting into anything that will distract him
from what's at hand:

Protecting Jurney's legacy, and helping Journey bring us new music.

Arnel's getting better and better with Jon's guidance, and the future
for Journey fans looks incredibly promising, if the songwriting holds up,
and if Journey has learned to zealously protect its lead singer's voice.
