'NBC plans to re-broadcast the late George Carlin's 1975 Saturday Night Live appearance this Saturday (June 28th) at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT, TVGuide.com reports. Carlin hosted the show's very first episode, which features musical guests Janis Ian and Billy Preston and a performance by comedian Andy Kaufman. SNL executive producer Lorne Michaels says, "George Carlin helped give Saturday Night Live its start as our first host. He was gracious, fearless, and most important of all, funny."

We're doing two shows on Venom Nation this saturday. The first one is at 10AM eastern, and it's just me, and will feature a few minutes of George Carlin. The second one is at 10PM eastern, and will be both hosts, and will open and close with George Carlin tributes.

The only way I knew HOW to pay tribute to such a great person...
