308,186 albums sold x 2 CDs/album = 616,372 units sold (per RIAA standards)

OK, then that would be low from the numbers I heard last week...

You crack me up. The white flag is for all the naysayers. That was their white flag. I should've quoted a previous post. Sorry for the confusion.

You could be absolutely right. I can only go by the numbers posted on HDD -- those are the only timely ones that I can readily get my hands on .....

Sorry, my mistake. Last weeks numbers were sitting at @292k according to HDD (not 392k that I was mistakenly posting) so you are spot on! Thank you for the updates!!

Since WalMart has an exclusive, can the band sell any at the concerts? If they do, do those count in the numbers?

Revelation IS for sale at the concerts (as well as through the band's website). I don't think the sales at venues will get added to weekly updates, but might get added to the total at the end of the tour...once auditing has been completed.

I hope the concert sales count as sales from the Jouney Store each week, That would be a great way to keep them high on the charts.

But the part I really love is:

Journey 6 weeks 23.0K
Motlet Crue 3 weeks 20.0K

Crue did huge promotions including a video, Letterman and the big annoucement around Cruefest.

Just goes to show great music wins. Although I do like some of the Crue stuff.

BTW - where are DL and Priest? Falling quickly by the wayside.

I was totally enamored with the new Def Leppard album at first but it's fallen out of my musical conscience almost entirely, already.

The only tracks that stuck with me are "Go," "Only The Good Die Young," "Bad Actress," and "Nine Lives."

Hallelujah! Right on, brother.

Give 'em the Andy Dick special, that's what I say.

I wasnt a hater, but i didnt like the shit that Journey pulled on us. Some of the so called "haters' might accept Journey a little at a time like i did. If you dont rub in there faces they might accept Journey a little bit at a time, something to think about, and Friga is fucking gay always.

Yeah, kind of meet halfway in Cleveland. A city full of nice people like that is certain to serve wine at a rock concert.
