I didn't take offense to anything (i'm not the one telling others to shove it, this sounds more like your the one who is offended, whereas my comment was a devils advocate approach),I meerly pointed out that what you do at your site is no different than what was done here , whether its picking one person or grouping a bunch of individuals its still the same thing.

You seem quite sensitive about the annex, i'm not sensitive about it so i dont see how you would think i would take offense to anything you said. I thought intelligent debate was encouraged here(not that telling people to shove it really belongs here) but i find that for the most part you offer intelligent debate...a little angry at times but intelligent nonetheless.

I don't give a fuck about much of anything that goes on here. If I actually had a fucking vested emotional interest in online relationships, I wouldn't sleep at night. So try (as hard as it may be for you) to not read into what I'm saying....you can try to drum up some silly theory that somethings not right with me and the annex, but all it is is a silly theory and stupid one at that (because you're way off). I made a passing comment at how some of them might be slightly disappointed with my renewed interest in journey. You took that as an opportunity to take a swipe at someone there and make more out of it than anyone (including myself implied). Andrew clarified in this very thread that my statement was within bounds, while yours wasnt.

Im still very unsure about the retreads. I was and still am scared that it's going to force an unnecessary comparison of arnel v. perry....and not the one everyone makes around here. Everyone likes to compare Arnel of today vs the Perry of today....but when you commit the voice to disc redoing those songs, you compare Arnel of today to Perry of yesterday year. That's an unfair fight.

However, there are little tidbits on the rerecords that I actually like...things not on the original.

For example, the acoustic guitar on the outro of Stone is great. So's Neal's chorused solo over the same part.
The outro of Be Good To Yourself is fucking amazing...like I said, arguably better than the original.....

Only The Young is hard...very hard...to listen to, as I feel the original is almost imposible to top or even come close to...

There is no turning back nowwwwwwww .........

You will only listen the new album ......

Musically there are some nice new touches, but vocally it's pretty dire.
