1/2 pint Guinness
1 oz Jamison
1/2 oz Bailey's Irish cream

Pour Guiness into a pint glass. Float Baileys on top of Jamison in shot glass. Drop shot glass, carefully, into Guiness. Drink quickly before it curdles.

And don't have more than 2. Trust me!!

WTF's the difference? I didn't like the opinion and I countered...if you interpreted that as a gripe, well then what's to say that an opinion is no less or more valid than a gripe?!

I'm arguing a matter of fact....revelations is not yet platinum and some here are talking bout quadruple platinum?!?!?!?!?!? WTF?!?!?! Let's get back to reality and start dealing with facts before we talk about pipe dreams....

Why are you yelling at me for, SG? I was only commenting to the original poster/thread topic, mine just happened to come after yours, didn't even read yours. Read my whole post, willya!? Not talking to you.

Boy, leave here for 1/2-a-day and this thread ballooned to 5 pages!

Not sure who you're disagreeing with? If its me, then you do agree, I was talking about albums not vocals!

Well, I disagree with you guys, then. No post-Perry albums are better than any Perry-fronted albums. No way.

What in the world happened while I was out? I just got back home a couple of minutes ago...and did not expect these 5 pages at all!
Gosh! All the while I thought the best I will ever get when I return is a shining trophy for the most useless thread of the month or something!
Perhaps gunbot's cheer leading works! You rock, gunbot!

Why did I start reading this thread? Maybe if I go out of the thread and come back in I can remember why I read it in the first place! That's the ticket!

Hey, everybody's most welcome to join in this thread...including morons & ADD-sufferers! Don't worry about not getting my point---you can always consult with gunbot!

Guys, correct me if I'm wrong...
My impression is----exchanging ideas is one of the objectives of forums like this!
Every member has the option to either express his/her opinion or simply shut up!
I chose the first option--an attempt to contribute a little bit as a new member...and if that's something you, Onestepper, don't like---so be it!

I'm all for exchanging ideas back and forth. But that's not what you did. You attacked people for not having the same opinion on a topic as you do. The title of your thread says it all. Express your opinion, I'm glad to hear it. But don't talk down or chastise people from the get go, and expect all to just accept your statements without challenge. You were the one that started off on a negative tone. Sorry that is so tough for you to understand.

I can assure you that I did not intend to attack people at all! Apologies if I have expressed my points the wrong way, or used the wrong words. I have no problem, though, in raising issues with people's ideas, actions and behavior.

I think edcha started off by trying to get us all to quit bitching. Ironically, he/she didnt do nothing but bitch even more. So I'd say its safe to qualify this thread as 'The most pointless/useless thread of the month"

Gunbot wrote:I will try to interpret the original post.
I will try to sum it up with liberal numbers. At the very least 51% of consumers bought the new package to listen to the new cd and because the price point is very attractive . At the very most 49% of the people bought the package because they don't know that SP is no longer in the band, they thought the greatest hits included in the set were the originals, their impulse shoppers that will pick up anything that looks like a bargain regardless of the quality of the product. The final analysis is the reason the record is selling so well is because the majority (51% or more) want to hear the new music and are attracted by the low price. So.........new music wins!

I think that is what the original post was saying but I'm already confused by what I just wrote. :?

Great job, gunbot! Thanks for the clarification!
I was also a little confused, but now I actually understand what I wrote a little better!

I've been trying to point out on another thread that surely the people are not that DUMB as what SJ pointed out, there is a Filipino dude at the back of the album! How can they miss that and not know that Perry isn't on the band anymore?

You have a very good point, mdaemon!
I believe that's what they call common sense--if I'm not mistaken!
