Steve Miller SUCKS ASS. Horrible, terrible music.

Most of these bands are fantastic. Good call for the most part.
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

I used to love Steve Miller back when I first got into rock music but haven't spun much of his stuff in AGES.

Bland, really.

I'm a middle aged man who belts early Priest and Maiden tunes in his car and karaoke bars.

Karaoke has scarred me for life. When I was a young man in Japan ( around 1985), going into a bar as an american immediately meant that I was required to sing one of the four english songs on the karaoke box. The payout would be free beer and perhaps some slanted love later that evening.

Here were my choices:
1.My way
2.New York, New York
3.When the Saints go marching in
4.Yesterday

Almost twentyfive years later I can still hear those songs in my head while in the midst of having a hump and sometimes I'll even start singing them whilest in the act. Obviously, I need fucking help. :D

Get his latest DVD, can't remember what it's called. It SMOKES! Great production values, great performances, tons of energy from the band. It will definitely give you a new outlook on Steve's music. Part of the problem with Steve is his flagship songs are those classic rock overkill songs - you hear em over and over on radio, commercials, movies, TV, what have you. I think that is what is probably partly contributing to your thinking.

Cool shout out to Player on that list... they were a really great band that ended too soon like the author said.

Well you got me there. I don't think I've ever had a song stuck in my head during a hump.

Journey should have rated above everyone in this top 10 except maybe Queen.

I'm saying that for the general populous. For me, they bury Queen.
